           Wear Comfortable Clothing

           Choose loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to your back and spine areas. Jeans and Spandex/ Leggings are not recommended as they can limit the connection to areas the Practitioner needs to access.

           Drink plenty of water before your appointment. Hydration helps your muscles, tissues and cells respond more effectively to the techniques used during a Spinal Flow Treatment.

           Your practitioner will begin with a brief discussion to understand your goals and any areas of concern. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify expectations. There will be an Assessment done to look for areas that could be the cause of symptoms, Gentle movements will be asked for you to do and then some palpation of the Spine.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           Relaxed Environment

           The treatment takes place in a calm, quiet space. Soft music and dim lighting may be used to enhance relaxation.

           The Spinal Flow Technique is a gentle, non-invasive healing modality inspired by the principles of chiropractic care, energy, and neurology. Developed by Dr. Carli Axford, this technique focuses on the spine and nervous system as key players in your body’s overall health and well-being.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           At its core, the Spinal Flow Technique works with the body’s innate intelligence and the ability to heal itself. It recognizes the spine as a critical pathway through which the nervous system communicates, ensuring that every cell in your body receives the information it needs to function optimally. By facilitating the flow of energy and bringing the body into a parasympathetic state, the Spinal Flow Technique creates a state of balance, allowing your body to release emotional, physical and chemical blockages.

           How Does It Work?

           During a Spinal Flow Technique treatment, a certified practitioner will gently assess your spine and identify areas indicating blockages. These blockages can stem from physical injuries, emotional trauma, or chemical stress, all of which can disrupt the body’s natural energy flow. The practitioner will then make contact with an access point along the spine. (there are 33 access points along the spine) 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Once that contact is made, a message travels up the spine via the nervous system to the brain to communicate ease and optimal health and travels back down to the tailbone and this Spinal Flow is repeated. This is how blockages along the spine are removed slowly and gently, layer by layer.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           By increasing the Spinal Wave in the body, the body releases stressors that the body was unable to process due to an overwhelmed state and this helps to restore balance and health in the body.
