Meet Tara
Hello, my name is Tara, I am a lover of nature, animals, music, learning and connection on all levels.
I went into Hairstyling with the plan of doing that temporarily and continued for 23 yrs.
The Beauty industry only confirmed my love for connection with my amazing clients, listening and holding space for each really confirmed the need for more healing alternatives and directed me to creating my own health clinic.
I have always been passionate about health and healing and have been searching for modalities that rang true to my heart so that I could facilitate effective techniques to help clients heal themselves.
My grandparents and parents introduced me to alternative healing modalities at a very young age, they practiced Reflexology, Herbology and Iridology in their own clinic in southern Alberta. Home-made Kombucha and Colonics were common place growing up in our home along with very healthy diets.
With my family's influence, knowledge and guidance it helped shape how I view overall health and healing with a Holistic lens.
In my early 20's, I was eager to learn all about anatomy, digestion, psychology and mind/body connection and my thirst for learning hasn't stopped.
I've been fortunate to train with incredible healing modalities like Spinal Flow and BodyTalk which have led me to opening my own clinic for mind body health.
I am in awe of our bodies natural ability to heal itself, through my own personal experience and having been honoured to witness amazing changes with clients, friends and family.
I have been formally training in alternative health modalities since 2015.
Spinal Flow Certified 2024
November 2023 Tara started studying the Spinal Flow Technique
and became a Certified Practitioner in May 2024.
Usui/HolyFire Reiki Master
In March 2016, Tara started training to become a Usui Reiki practitioner, finishing to become a Usui Reiki Master in April 2018 and a Holy Fire Reiki Master in April 2021.
Tuning Fork Sound Healing
Sound Healing was added to Tara's list of modalities after her completion of Level 1: Foundation Certificate, Sound Healing with Tuning Forks.
